The M550 and M560 Multifunction power / energy transducers provide all the ac measurements required by facility managers - faced with increasing energy costs. The M550 and M560 operate as a cost effective solution because they replace 10 or more conventional single function transducers. These devices compute all major power measurements along with many key ac measurement parameters. All measurement calculations are performed simultaneously inside one DIN rail package and transmitted via the RS485, EtherNet interfaces or assigned to analogue outputs. EnergyLog
EnergyLog's extensive data-logging capacity combined with advanced alarm functions, provide the tools to help facility managers track costs, meet energy usage targets, allocate energy expenses and sub-bill by department, area or even process.
Through an Ethernet connection, the EnergyLog can alert facility managers to alarm conditions by a choice of methods, including SMS, pager or e-mail. EnergyLog hosts its own Web pages, allowing facility personnel to check on device/system status, anytime, from any location in the world using a standard web browser.
The power and energy measurements logged by the EnergyLog, is made available as data in taylored reports, spreadsheets and continuous logging real time metering. All this valuable data can be viewed as a URL (web address) - via the company intranet/network, meaning that energy data and usage can be viewed from any location worldwide. Thresholds may be set for command and control allowing alarms and triggering of external devices - alerting key personnel. The EnergyLog systems can operate using password protected security with limited access options. Helping to control costs at a processing plant, the EnergyLog provides the tools to help facility managers better understand and control their energy costs and diagnose potential problems to minimize downtime.
