硅粉阀控铅酸蓄电池发展概况

摘要:硅粉阀控铅蓄电池与普通贫液式和胶体阀控铅酸蓄电池不同。硅粉阀控铅酸蓄电池是将颗粒二氧化硅紧密填充在极板之间的空间和极群组周围,电解液保持在正极板、负极板、隔板和颗粒二氧化硅中。紧密填充的颗粒二氧化硅从各个方向对极板施加高的均匀压力,抑制活物质和板栅的失效,从而提高了铅酸蓄电池循环寿命。本文综述硅粉阀控铅酸蓄电池的发展概况。

Abstract:Granular silica valve-regulated lead-acid(VRLA)battery is different from conventional tarved-type and gelled-type batteries.In this battery,granular silica is tightly packed into the space between the plates and around the elements and the electrolyte is retained in the positive plates,the negative plates,the separators and the granular silica.The tightly packed granular silica applies high and uniform compresion to the plates from every directions,and it is expected to suppress the deterioration of the active material and grids and thus it will provide longer cycle life.Development outline of this battery was reviewed in this paper.
